Lord knows I have been talking about writing a blog for a very long time. Why, you may ask? Because. I have experiences. Experiences that I think are worth sharing with other people. And because these 'other people' said they would want to read my blog. Of which half of those 'other people' were probably lying. But it doesn't matter. Even if no one reads this, I will still have a way to keep track of all these fun little stories about my life.
Ok, so first off, I am a student. A special student. A graduate student. Cool right? Yeah...not when you have been working for two years after graduating from college and get an inkling that you should go back. And by go back, I mean to get my PharmD. That's right, I'm in pharmacy school. So in a nut shell, I am a 'non traditional student' BUT NOT that "non traditional student"...ehkay? Just to make this clear, no, I do not hold up my pin in the air while clearing my throat in the front row when I need to ask the teacher a question. I simply wait until the end of class when I am sure none of the other students can hear whatever question I feel is important enough to make my way up to the front of the class to ask.
Back-up, to the pharmacy school thing. Yes, I do feel cool that I am in school and yes, I do have a superiority complex about it. If any other pharm student tries to tell you otherwise, they are not telling the truth. Which brings up another important thing you should know before continuing to read my blog. I call it like I see it, which some call harsh, or other names which I won't mention here. So, when I discuss some of the many topics (like the 'hair bump it'-which will be the topic of discussion for my next blog), I may offend you. But I am not sorry if I do because I tried to warn you.
To conclude my first blog, I would like to tell you why I named it 'Any Skinny Latte'. So, like I said, I am in pharmacy school. I am going to write a simple equation that I feel best sums up how the two are related. classes + studying - social life - sleep + large amounts of caffeine = pharmacy school Notice that didn't say what flavor, because honestly, it doesn't matter and changes frequently. And the 'skinny' is just what I prefer when I visit Starbucks. For those non-starbucks goers (by the way, we can't be friends if this is the case on the grounds that we may not have a lot in common), skinny means non-fat. This is a critical component to my lattes because I like to get whipped cream, and I feel like one cancels the other. So there you have it! Until next time!
Haha yes! It's up and running! The Bump-It piece should be interesting...considering no girl who ever wants a date with a normal guy should wear one...ever
ReplyDeleteAh Kathalope! It's good to see you're doing well. I tal to Brad quite frequently and he gives me updates of you and Harvard.
